Call for Art for a benefit for Barack Obama and Joe Biden

Fellow Artists- Want to help elect Obama & Biden?

We're with you all the way.

Which is why we're having a PARTY

Not just any party- an OBAMA-ART-O-RAMA!

The critique group exhibit 6- Lynda Cole, Martha Ceccio, Connie Cronenett, Candace Pappas, Betty Schwartz and Leslie Sobel - are hosting a benefit party for the Obama Biden campaign. Our friends Pat Truzzi and Madeleine Vallier are joining us to help elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden. We're soliciting donations of artwork for a Silent Auction to raise money in this crucial election year.

The auction will be on Saturday October 11th from 7 to 10, at 411 Fountain St - the fabulous home of Tamara Real and Carl Rinne. It will include performances by Dick Siegel and Pete Siers among others. The musicians are donating their time; we're donating our art, the food and drink- won't you join in by donating a piece of your artwork?

Artwork (including crafts) can be dropped off at 411 Fountain St. on these two dates: Saturday, October 4th from 1- 5, and Sunday, October 5th from 5 -7. (pick up of unsold work will be on Sunday the 12th from 2-5pm)

2-D work should be no larger than 36"; either framed, ready to hang, or mounted and protected with plastic. You may set a starting bid for your work.

We invite artists to join us for the benefit party. Tickets are $25 payable at the door or in advance at the Obama website Your ticket cost will be applied towards your first art purchase should you choose to make one. We will have laptops set up to take your donations so you can pay with a credit card directly to the campaign.

There is no tax benefit for donating your art to this cause BUT you will be helping us elect Barack Obama and Joe Biden by helping raise money for their campaign.
